February half term luxury family breaks in Scotland

After Christmas, after new year, after…everything really, don’t you think you deserve some relaxing time together with your family? No hassles, no deadlines, just a luxurious stay in beautiful surroundings. This February half term, spend it at one of our sumptious 5-star properties by Loch Lomond or Loch Tay.

Whether you want to spend time with your close family or invite your extended family, we have properties that will be perfect. Plenty of space to mingle and opportunities to chill mesh with our private gardens and wide open grounds. So if you have an outdoor fan mother or a brother who would rather stay in the Jacuzzi, we will have the right property for them and all your family.

Outdoor activities

Spending your February half term break in Scotland means surrounding yourself in nature. On the shores of lochs or underneath trees, you can breath deeply and spend time together with your whole family.

There’s so much to do here that if enjoying activity breaks is your thing, you’ll be spoiled for choice. You can take boat trips on Loch Lomond, or climb Ben Lomond for terrific views. Loch Lomond Shores offers a unique lochside shopping experience, and the nearby sea life aquarium is great for the whole family. Find out more things to do when staying near Loch Lomond here.

At Loch Tay there are similarly plenty of outdoor activities. Canoeing, mountain biking and golfing are just some of the outdoor pursuits. For somewhere the whole family to enjoy and learn about the history of the area, the Scottish Crannog Centre on the loch’s banks is a fascinating step back thousands of years to some of the first people to live near the loch. Discover more activities near Loch Tay here.

Cozy indoors

Of course there’s sometimes nothing better than staying indoors. This is especially fun when there is so much to do. Each of our three properties have unique styles and activities available. For example, if you stay at Stuckgowan you can enjoy film night in our cinema room.

Stucktdarach has a media room to keep everyone excited, along with the latest games consoles. You can also keep the comfort of indoors when outside and make use of our covered hot tub.

Stucktaymore offers a roaring fire to cuddle in beside on chilly nights, and also has its own bar to enjoy your favourite dram. All in, whatever the weather and whatever your mood, there’s something to keep everyone happy at all of our stunning properties.

We’re dog friendly!

When we say a family break, we mean it! All of our properties are dog friendly, and they are most welcome to stay. All we ask is that they get plenty of cuddles from all the family and get to explore our beautiful countryside too!
