Dog-friendly holidays in Central Scotland

Looking for dog-friendly holidays in Scotland? All three of our properties at Stuckgowan Estates are dog-friendly. So if you’re looking for a large holiday house that welcomes your four-legged friends, we’ve got just the thing. We allow a maximum of 2 dogs per house. Please let us know in advance if you’re bringing them along. Your pets are permitted in the shared areas and grounds, but not in the bedrooms, and we ask that you supervise them at all times.

Things to do with your dog

For guests staying at Stucktaymore in Highland Perthshire, there are some spectacular walks around Loch Tay, from the Acharn Woods in Killin to the famous Birks of Aberfeldy. And for guests of Stuckgowan and Stuckdarach, wonderful walks near Arrochar and Tarbet include the Arrochar Tarbet Link Path and the Succoth Circuit. You could choose a different walk for every day of the week!

There are also several dog-friendly attractions and activities in central Scotland. For example, Cruise Loch Lomond and Sweeney’s Cruise Co boat trips allow well-behaved dogs on board. Dogs on leads are welcome at the Scottish Crannog Centre too. In addition, you’ll find lots of dog-friendly pubs and restaurants in the area. We are dog-lovers ourselves, so please ask us if you’d like any further recommendations.
