Only 2 miles down the road, this local club offers an entertaining 9-hole golf course in a picturesque setting. There’s something for all levels of golfing ability, and the club welcomes visitors. Play 9 holes or go the whole distance with 18 holes for a great day’s golfing in Perthshire, followed by a nice and a drink rest in the clubhouse.

Getting to Killin Golf Club from Stucktaymore is easy. It is a 4-minute drive south along the A827 and you can book your tee time on their website before you leave your accommodation.
Killin Golf Club has a history dating back to at least 1902, and the club has grown and developed ever since. Located at the head of Loch Tay, this small and well-maintained course offers new and experienced golfers a good variety of holes and plenty of challenges. In all, there are 18 holes you can play, each with their own challenges and devious traps. Fortunately, each one has a video walkthrough to prepare golfers in advance!

The stunning surroundings of the Perthshire Highlands really set this course apart. Admire the beautiful scenery between holes. Then enjoy refreshments in the clubhouse and bar afterwards. Although basic, it serves warm food and refreshing drinks too. This is a small, relaxed club and visitors are most welcome. If you are visiting with a large group, it is a good idea to call ahead. Do note that the clubhouse is only open from March to October. If you are looking for a wider menu selection, then The Courie Inn in Killin is a great option to try Scottish food, which is served form 5pm.

The golf course is open to visitors, as are many of the club-run competitions. You can bring your own clubs, but if you are travelling light then they can be hired here for £10 a set. Also available are 3 petrol sit on buggies for hire, costing £15 for 9 holes and £22 for 18 holes. Friendly staff are on hand to offer advice and tips on the course.
The course also warmly welcomes young people to play, offering a special 50% discount on under-18s.
