The closest grocery shop to Stuckgowan and Stuckdarach is Tarbet Village Shop. There are more shops in Arrochar, 4 miles north and situated on Loch Long. You can find a village shop for general provisions, a good selection of food and drink, plus fresh morning rolls, but go early. There is a small café next to the filling station for hot bacon rolls, which opens at 9 am daily. Going south to Luss village there is a small general store for food and papers, plus a gift shop, a smokehouse, a hotel with bar and a tea room. It’s a beautiful village to walk around.
