Our Perthshire wedding venue by Loch Tay

Stucktaymore is our magnificent house overlooking Loch Tay. The entire house and grounds near the Perthshire village of Killin is available to hire exclusively as a small, private wedding venue. It’s suitable for wedding celebrations and accommodation for up to 29 guests. Hold the ceremony indoors or outdoors, we have plenty of space. We also have a large dining table seating up to 29 for the wedding breakfast, and a party room for the evening celebrations. The house has 13 ensuite bedrooms, so all guests can stay on site. Alternatively, if you are looking for smaller properties, we offer a further two wedding houses, Stuckgowan and Stuckdarach, nearby on the shores of Loch Lomond. Please note, our houses are available to book for a minimum of 2 nights from October to May, and 7 nights from June to September.

Spectacular views

Set on the shores of Loch Tay, Stucktaymore features the most breathtaking views of the waters from inside and out. This sets the scene for amazing wedding photographs, whatever the weather. The historic house has an abundance of space and offers plenty of flexibility for your big day. The extensive grounds feature manicured lawns and an enchanted forest. Located near Killin village and its famous Falls of Dochart, it’s easy to reach here by car, train or plane. There is ample free car parking at the house. Our closest train station is Crianlarich (16 miles) and the closest major airports are Glasgow (65 miles) and Edinburgh (69 miles). Buses and taxis operate in the local area, and car hire is available at the airports.

Booking your wedding

All of our wedding houses are available on an exclusive basis, meaning you and your guests will have the whole house and its grounds to yourselves. Please note, we provide the venue only. We don’t offer a wedding coordinator service, so you will need to arrange a registrar or celebrant to conduct the ceremony, and ensure that they approve our venue. You’ll also need to book any suppliers, such as caterers, flowers, music and photographers. However, we’ll give you a list of local celebrants and suppliers to make the arrangements easier. Let us know this is a wedding booking at the time of enquiry so that we can give you all the relevant information. Please note, we simply provide the setting for your wedding celebrations. You will need to arrange the registrar or celebrant yourself and ensure that our private venue is approved by them, along with organising your own caterers and other suppliers. However, we can recommend local celebrants, caterers and suppliers, making the process easy.
