Small private Loch Lomond wedding venues

By Loch Lomond, we have two beautiful houses with grounds, both available to hire as small private Loch Lomond wedding venues. Stuckgowan is the larger property, accommodating weddings of up to 19 guests. While Stuckdarach is suitable for small weddings and elopements for between 4 and 12 guests. Both have indoor and outdoor space for the ceremony. Plus lots of dining and social room to hold a wedding breakfast and reception. If you are looking for a larger property, we also offer Stucktaymore in nearby Highland Perthshire, which takes up to 29 guests. Please note, our houses are available to book for a minimum of 2 nights from October to May, and 7 nights from June to September.

A stunning location

Our two luxury Loch Lomond properties are located on the same magnificent 34-acre Scottish estate, and they are steeped in history. Stuckgowan was the main house on the estate, while Stuckdarach was originally the office and stables. Both have been completely refurbished to the highest standard. They have their own private grounds, plus further space to explore across the estate. Enjoy spectacular scenery and no end of perfect backdrops for your wedding photographs. On the western shores of Loch Lomond, near the villages of Tarbet and Arrochar, it’s easy for you and your guests to get here by car, train or plane. Free guest parking is available on the estate. Our closest train station is Arrochar & Tarbet (2 miles), and the closest major airport is Glasgow (31 miles). Buses and taxis operate in the local area, and car hire is available at the airport.

Booking your wedding

When you hire one of our wedding properties, you and your guests will have the whole house and its grounds to yourselves. We don’t offer a wedding coordinator service, we provide the venue only. Therefore, you will need to arrange a registrar or celebrant to conduct the ceremony, and ensure that they approve our venue. You’ll also need to book any suppliers, such as caterers, flowers, music and photographers. We have a list of celebrants and suppliers, so that you can easily make these arrangements. To secure your venue, simply choose your property, check availability and then contact us here. We can then chat through your requirements and make the booking.

Let us know this is a wedding booking at the time of enquiry so that we can give you all the relevant information. Please note, we simply provide the setting for your wedding celebrations. You will need to arrange the registrar or celebrant yourself and ensure that our private venue is approved by them, along with organising your own caterers and other suppliers. However, we can recommend local celebrants, caterers and suppliers, making the process easy.
