With plenty of space to spread out individually or socialise as a group, it’s the perfect excuse for a holiday with friends or family. So, get the whole gang together and book a unique holiday you’ll be reminiscing about for years to come.

Our Loch Lomond holiday properties

Our two Loch Lomond houses, Stuckgowan (sleeps 19) and Stuckdarach (sleeps 4 to 12), lie on the 34-acre Stuckgowan Estate. Stuckgowan was once a grand country residence, and Stuckdarach served as the Estate Manager’s house on the grounds. Both have now been extensively renovated into luxurious private holiday homes. Each property has its own beautiful private grounds, plus further space to explore across the estate. They feature spectacular lochside views and offer everything you need for a comfortable stay. Multiple bedrooms and bathrooms allow couples and small families to have their own space. But you can all get together as a group to enjoy the shared spaces, such as the cosy snug, large dining area and outdoor space complete with Jacuzzi hot tub.

Self-catering and dining services

The houses have full self-catering facilities, so you can visit the local grocery store or order an online shop and stock up for the week. If you prefer to have outside catering, you can arrange for one of our approved chefs to come and cook for you. They will prepare and serve your food and clear away afterwards, and you can just relax and enjoy yourself. Finally, there are several wonderful places to eat and drink in the local area. So there are plenty of dining options for a flexible holiday.

How to get to Stuckgowan Estate

The two properties are on the same peaceful estate, on the western shores of Loch Lomond by Tarbet and Arrochar. The estate is easy to get to by car – you will need the postcode G83 7DH for your satnav. Both properties have secure gated entry and offer plenty of space for parking. Our closest train station is Arrochar & Tarbet (2 miles) and the closest major airports are Glasgow (31 miles) and Edinburgh (78 miles). Car hire and taxis are available from both airports and you can also arrange a transfer in advance.
